Girlfriend is not entitled to anything unless your father made a will. However, her change of attitude towards you is hardly surprising. You will need to get your own probate litigation lawyer unfortunately. You need a copy of the will, if any. You need to see who was named/appointed as personal representative of your father's estate. If it was the girlfriend, she can be removed if she is not doing her job properly. The problem is, it sounds like your father left everything to girlfriend and left you a pittance. Was your father in his right mind? Was he dependent on his girlfriend? Was his will recently made? It may be that gold digger girlfriend connived to get father to disinherit you and if you can show her bad influence, maybe you can get the will tossed out so that all the assets will pass to you. If your father had a business and assets it will be worthwhile. Pay the lawyer to review and find out what it will cost to bring a caveat (will challenge) if you have grounds.
