Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Pennsylvania

My daughtrers father has died and has left everything including a large farm to his wife, my daughters step mother. There are 2 other members of his family that own small portions of the farm. She has no desire to work on the farm as the brother and sister always have, and if she decides to sell it 1/2 of the sale money will be put in trust for my daughter, who wants only to keep the farm in the family. There are many other members of the family that are willing to work the farm.

And your question is what? The will is what it is. The wife does not have to work on the farm. Those who want to do so should approach the wife with either an offer to buy the land or lease it from her so that they can farm it.

Why would your daughter's share be put in trust if the farm is sold? Does the will say this? Is she a minor?

Without more specifics about what you are asking, I cannot give you a better answer. feelo free to contact me if you would like me to review the will and ansewr a more specific question.
