Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Pennsylvania

I am designated as executor of a will but a family member has the will and has not contacted me. One of the heirs notified me that this family member intends to ignore the will and has no intention of notifying me. What should be done in this case?

You might wish to call the person whose will it is and have a chat and let him know what's going on.

If he doesn't voluntarily give it to you consider getting a "Rule" at the Register of Wills. You can petition the court to compel him to produce the will. If an attorney drew up the will and you know the identity of the attorney ask him or her for a copy of the will. You could probate the copy.
