My father passed away and only his name is on the deed. Does my stepmother inherit the property?

Did he have a will. if so that may dispose of the property. if no will then intestacy succession would provide a portion for wife and a portion for children. The wife could also under certain circumstances choose to take against the will if warranted. it would be best you discuss the situation further with an attorney.
