Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Pennsylvania

Granddaughter have access to Grandparents Wills

My daughter's grandparents just died recently, the Grandmother 1 year ago and the Grandfather this pass summer. I have been waiting to hear from the executor for any items left to my children. Nothing so far. Can you tell me do I have legal rights to request any information about my daughters, if they are mentioned in the will? Please note that my x-husband is also in arrears with his child-support, I have requested a certificate of arrears in order to send it to the estate. Is there a way to find out who are the lawyers handling the estate?

Re: Granddaughter have access to Grandparents Wills

If the Will has been probated, then it becomes a public record in the county in which your daughter's grandparents resided. You can get a copy of it from the Register of Wills office. The file should also indicate if an attorney is involved along with the attorney's name and contact information.

If you want to discuss this matter further, please contact me by phone or e-mail.
