Grandmother's will

How do I go about finding out if a Grandmother had a will and if so what was in that will? I would like to be able to see a copy of the will and to also see who acted on behalf of the family. I'm not even sure of the exact year she passed due to being away. I was told she had passed years ago and no other information was given. I do know she made a will since I had taken her a few years before I left to an attorney's office to do the will. It's possible her will was changed after I left but I'd like to know for sure.

You may not need the date of death. The register of wills may be able to search for her estate by name. You can go on ancestry.com and look her up, or the Social security administration, or the area newspaper, and get a date of death. The register of wills in the county of her death would have her estate file. The will should be in there as long as the estate was probated.
