How do you assume legel guardianship of a retarded family member when the mother has altzhimers disease?

you must file a petition with the Court to have the person declared incapacitated. You will need a lawyer

You file a petition to establish guardianship in the Orphan's Court Division of the Court of Common Pleas in the county where the dependent family member lives.
