Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Pennsylvania

keeping my property in the event of my wifes passing

My wife and I bought a parcel of land from the estate of her aunt when she died. The money went back into the estate and was passed out to the hires. The parcel was split between my wife and her father so thier names are on the deed. I let it go because if he passes first it all goes to us but if she passes first it goes to him. I paid for the land and have been paying taxes on it. My wife just found lumps on her breasts and may have breast cancer. Do I loose my half of the property if she passes first or because I'm her spouse do I get the property. I could really use it if she passes because I have One kid in college and one that wants to go soon. What are my legal rights in this case?
