Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Pennsylvania

I live in Pennsylvania I was given some shares these shares and others were not mention in the will I was told that since I am the beneficiary of the will those shares belong to me both of these shares were transferred over into my name. Now there also a share/percentage in a business that also wasnt mention in the will I am told that this share/percentage will be sold and added to the estate (large sum). My question: Are the business share/percentage the same as the others shares that were given to me? Why are these shares/percentage being sold and add to the estate?

I need to see the will. Even though specific property was not mentioned, is there a residuary clause that made you the beneficiary of everything that was not mentioned? Or is it possible that there are not enough assets to satisfy any claims, so they are giving you the shares, which might be of a lesser value, but because the business is worth more, the gift to you of the business is adeemed and the proceeds from the sale of the business will be used to pay any claims?

Is there an attorney for the estate? If not, do you get along with the executor? You might try asking either of these individuals politely for an explanation. Failing that, take the will to an probate attorney in the county/state where the estate was probated and ask him/her to review the will and find out what is going on.
