Still married,never divorced,learnd today my name is on deed to home.have not lived
with deceased husband in over 20 years.His mother had attorney today .they told me
Iam responsible for his medical bills.Is this true.

I doubt it. You may have been at one time but not now. One, any claim against your deceased husband should have been made against his estate. Further, they can't sue you for it because they are barred by the statute of limitations. To sue some one for a debt incurred by a contract you have to do so with in 4 years. If its been 20 years the Statute of Limitations has run.
I suspect that there is a lien on the house from the medical bills. This would have been the result of a judgment against you and your husband for medical bills. If this is the case the judgment is only good for 5 years unless they renew it. I doubt that anyone would renew a judgment for 5 years.
I would ask the attorney to write you and explain how you are responsible for a debt that old.
Once, you have that I would find an attorney to review that letter.
