Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Pennsylvania

Monetary Will no Property involved

My mother passed away and I am executor of her will. She stipulates in the will the amount to be given to my sibling. Mom's savings and checking account are in her name and mine. Do I just give my sister the amount stipulated in the will and do I have to file the will in any court. Also how would I claim inheritance tax. Both accounts are in my mom's name and mine. Thanks

You should consult a lawyer who offers free consultations to look at the will and the property of the estate. If the will specifies gifts the administrator is required to probate the will(Unless all the property of the estate passed by operation of law to the receipiant(s)).
