No. The will said grandchildren. Now if the grandchildren want to share with their kids that up to them. What is not up to you is to rewrite the will.

I agree with Attorney Davidson in general. If the will said all or a percentage of property to grandchildren then it goes to all biological or adopted grandchildren. No one else and the will cannot be re-written to please people.

That said, if a grandchild has died before the person who made the will, then the children of the dead grandchild (i.e. great-grandchildren) can inherit the share of their dead parent.
