Mother had Aging Brain Syndrome in making power of attorney
The POA acted in his own interests in handling mom's finances. Had mother sign annunity papers and listed himself as the beneficiary when mom had Aging Brain Syndrome. Can this be contested because she signed documents in this condition?

Yes, but you will need medical certifications and will probably have to go to Court and have a medical witness to overcome the action taken. You could claim undue influence, and possibly fraud.
