Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Pennsylvania
My mother passed in may , she used my youngest sisters (sister#1)lawyer for her will. #1and Iare bother exec.to the estate. There are two of us because 1 isn't speaking to my three other siblings. Is there a chance of conflict of interest in continuing to use this lawyer. My siblings thinks there is. I'm in NY...This is taking place in PA

Unless the lawyer is a beneficiary to the will probably not. It's not uncommon family members to use the same lawyer.

I agree with Mr. Davidson's conclusion. However, I think you should ask the lawyer whether he or she thinks there is a conflict of interest. The lawyer may decide that a dispute between heirs will make it impossible to administer the estate. So, I don't think you have a legal conflict but you may have a moralor work conflict. Good luck
