ill parent w/out will
Mother of two adult children currently in hospital, health drastically failing. says shes going to take care of her affairs, but has not done so after YEARS of disscussions. what can I do?

it is up to your mother not you. If she desires to make a will she can do it. If she is unable to take care of her present affairs due to being incapable due to not having the capacity to act you can have a guardianship proceeding. If your mother is competant she can appoint a power of attorney to handle her affairs but again this would be her decision.
you should contact an attorney if your mother is unable to handle her affairs.
