Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Pennsylvania

Is this part of an estate?

My mom is moving in with us. She is buying some things to move in with her. She said it'll be ours when she dies.

My sister-in-law is telling people that she wants ''things'' after Mom dies. She claims it's part of the estate. Since mom isn't paying rent or utilities and told us it would be ours, i figured that since it was in our home that it is now ours. But, she hasn't put it in her will. We have possession of it in our home.

Who is correct in their assumption?

If the will has a residual clause all her property is covered by the will.
