Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Pennsylvania

power of attorney

I have a car that is registered in my name and my son's name, he presently lives in Calif and would like to sell his car. Since my name is on it I downloaded a Power of Attorney from the internet but it is for Calif. can I have this notarized here in PA, then mail it to him in Calif. Or can I fill it out fax it to him & have him have it notarized there. What are the laws?? Thank you Vivian Ko

Re: power of attorney

For a Notary to notarize a signature it must be done in the presence of the notary. You would get the your signature notarized in PA.
