Power of attorney

In general, If someone has power of attorney, is a fee paid to that

person? E.G. A woamn has power of attorney for her sick father who

is in a V.A. home and handles his monthly retirement and Social

Security checks. Does this woman receive a montly fee for that

service by law?

Unless the document specifically authorizes payment of a fee, there is no statutory right to a fee.
