Probate Case

How long does it take to settle a case where a sibling stole money from a will? We have a lawyer on the case, and she has given them almost a year to give up paperwork on my dad and they have not as of yet.

Re: Probate Case

You can request that your lawyer file a petition requiring the executor to file an account, if the sibling is the executor.

Also, you should be discussing with your lawyer what your options are, and what steps she will take to achieve your goals.

You and your lawyer should have open communications, whereby you are free to express your questions, and the lawyer responds to them within a reasonable time.
