Yes, but the executor needs to be a party to this and there has to be some mechanism for making sure that the rent that is paid goes towards the maintenance/insurance/taxes while the estate is pending. Will the property be needed to ppay any claims against the estate? If not, see if the executor will release it to you by making an early distribution.
