Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Pennsylvania

My sister hired an estate attorney. after we hired a lawyer because she was not running estate properly. Now we are at final accounting an asked for. receipts and statements. The estate attorney wanted to send just bank statement. now he said he is going to hire an accountatnt because we asked for this information. he than hired accountant. hired himself and charged 5,000 account fee and add a commission fee of $5,000. is this ok.

No. I think the lawyer who is also the accountant has to justify the fees he earned acting as an accountant versus the fees he earned acting as a lawyer. I also don't understand why he is taking a comission when your sister is the executor. Is she still serving?

Estate commissions are done on a sliding scale based on the size and complexity of the estate. I would got back to your lawyer and have him or her object if these things are questionable.
