Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Pennsylvania

Statue of limitations for a will

Is there a statue of limitation for a will? Also does a will have to be dated and have signatures of 2 witnesses if it is handwritten and the person was in their right state of mind. (not sure how to word that).

Re: Statue of limitations for a will

No. A will is good until it is lost or revoked. In Pennsylvania there is NO witness requirement, but it must be signed and dated by the individual.

My office also offers flat rate pricing and free consultations, for additional information please visit my firm's website at www.AlleghenyAttorneys.com or by calling my office at 412.731.0865.
