Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Pennsylvania

Stepmother's has ''real''

When my father passed away this past March, my step-mother said she had his last will. I have a different one dated prior to hers--name removed--In hers the only monetary mention is for her children. My brother, sisters and myself are mentioned, but just that, mentioned. Nothing is mentioned about grandchildren, either, which my Dad stressed, they each get so much--name removed--Are we to just believe this was his last will.

Re: Stepmother's has ''real''

If the later will was properly executed then it would take precedence over an earlier will. unless you could prove undue influence, fraud, that your father was perhaps incompetant at the time he executed the second will etc. In any event that would involve a will contest which is a complicated mattter. there are insufficent facts from your post to indicate whether one of the factors mentioned above might provide a basisi to contest the will in order to make the first will valid. I suggest you contact an attorney to review the situation immediately
