Will Execution

Is there a time frame that an executor of a will has to execute the wishes of the deceased in PA. There is no one protesting any of the will. What are the steps to executing a will or the process?

Re: Will Execution

The executor should probate the will at the register of wills in the county where the decedent was living at the time of his death. This should be done within a reasonable time. If the executor fails to act you can go to the register of wills and file papers to compel the filing of the will. You should contact an attorney immediately if you are a nmaed beneficiary or potential beneficiary. If you would like to dicuss this further you may contact my office.
