Without a Will

my husband died without a will Therefore i am having a hard time to collect the annunity The lawyer told me i can do this online to get a small estate affidavits

A simple, low cost, administration (probate of an estate where there is no Will) of a small estate should be all that is required, presuming the estate is less than $10,000. This will result in your being appointed Administrator of the estate and, in this position, you can deal with the annuity and any other assets.
