Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Pennsylvania
last will
i am a power of attorney for a blind gentlemen and executor for same man's will. there is very little assets and are located in only one bank account in this gentlemen's name with me as POA. they are to be used for his funeral expenses and to settle all outstanding bills. he can't afford a lawyer. when he dies, how do i get the money released quickly to pay for burial, funeral home, rent, charge cards etc.

Re: last will
If you have the will, the process of being issued with Letters signifying that you are responsible for the estate should take very little time.
If the funeral expenses are a concern you may want to prepay that expense.
