Legal Question in Workers Comp in Pennsylvania

my case has been settled and I recieve medical benefits, what happens if my work related injury gets worse?. The reason I am asking this question is because my injury has gotten worse and the insurance carrier is refusing to pay for my doctor or my medication, because they say that this puts me in another level. What ever that means. thank you

You have to file a Petition to amend the description of the injury. For example, the insurance companies will classify a herniated disc as a strain/sprain to limit medical payments to providers.
