Legal Question in Workers Comp in Pennsylvania

i fell on ice at work and sprained my ankle. the dr. recomends a week of desk duty. my employer doesnt have a desk job for me so i was told to take the week off and would have to use my personal leave time to get paid. is that legal in pennsylvania?

Yes. Workers' comp starts to pay you after the 5th day of being out of work. After that first week out of work, if you still can't work (not all doctors' predictions are accurate.), work comp will either have to "accept" your injury and pay you or "deny" your claim, in which case you'll want to meet with an atty.
