Legal Question in Workers Comp in Pennsylvania

injury/ time frame

I hurt my leg at work, i am under workers comp doctors care, i don not have paid days to pay for my time off due to injury. how long while i am off untill my employer is responsible to pay for lost time off work?

If you're disabled & out of work 1 week or less (1 to 5 work days) no lost wages are paid. If you're out of work 6 - 10 work days then you get paid as of the 6th work day missed. If you're out of work 11 work days or more then you're paid back from day 1 & for all days you miss. These do not have to be consecutive days. Good luck!!
