Legal Question in Workers Comp in Pennsylvania

light-duty

i fell at work. i have been on compensation since february. i broke both bones in my right arm and fractured bones in my wrist. three operations later and still going to physical therapy and i have a rotator cuff injury in my right shoulder and a frozen shoulder. i am to return to work on monday...to one-handed duties. i type and have to take messages and also copy and pull charts. do i have a case if so could you recommend a lawyer? thank you.

You didn't say whether or not you think you can return to some work activities, or you are being "forced" into returning to work. If you are able to perform light duty work, and do not suffer any lost wages, then under the Comp. Law you are not entitled to any more wage loss benefits. However you are always entitled to medical bill benefits paid by worker's comp. If you believe you are not able to perform any work activites (that is you are totally disabled), you need to consult with an experienced worker's comp. atty. Also, you may have a claim against the owner of the property where you fell. I would be glad to discuss this with you further.

YES IT SOUNDS LIKE YOU HAVE A WORKERS COMP. CASE NAD PERHAPS A CASE AGAINST THE OWNERS OF THE PREMISES WHERE YOU FELL. MY OFFICE HANDLES SUCH ACTIONS.
