Loss of medical insurance

I had two level fusion surgery on my back under wc two months ago. Everything is going fine and I am in recovery now. Can the company I work for stop my family medical insurance while I am off of work.

I believe they can. I don't think there is no obligation to continue any benefits other than your workers' compensation absent an agreement or union contract but I think they do have to let you know of your right to continue it by paying the premiums.
