Most of what happens in workers' comp is fuled by medical opinion. Whatever move you make, you will want a doctor supporting that move. If you turn down work, you will want a doctor approving that move. For more details, go to www.workinjuryinpa.com
Your opinion as to whether you can or cannot work is not really that important. You will need a credible doctor to give an opinion as to whether you can or cannot work. If your treating doctor has approved the return to work, you will have a difficult time proving you cannot work. If your treating doctor has not approved of you returning to work, then contact a lawyer immediately. Most lawyers charge on a contingent fee basis for handling worker's compensation cases. This means there is no fee unless benefits are awarded to you and the amount of the fee will be a percentage of your weekly benefit. Feel free to contact me for a no cost consultation. 800-233-9700.
