Legal Question in Workers Comp in Pennsylvania

Can my company in PA, deduct $2.50hr off my pay for being on light duty due to injury at work? I have been injured at work and went to thier doctor and had shoulder injury, been on light duty due to injury for months, now they want to deduct money from my pay, is this legal?

If you are earning less than your pre injury avg weekly wage and you are stil restricted from full duty then the insurance company must pay you two-thirds of the difference. They may be subject to a penalty (monetary) if they have not done so. Please call my office to discuss in more detail.

Your WC lawyer can get you 2/3ds of any resulting difference in lesser pay even if your boss is shortchanging you. Any way I look at it, you are in the right.
