Legal Question in Workers Comp in Pennsylvania
retirement while on workers compesation
I was injured September 1993 working as a correctional officer. I just retired as of October 27 2007. I am scheduled for an IME what can the insurance company have me do legally I am 50 years old.

Re: retirement while on workers compesation
They will try to terminate your benefits. The provisions of the Heart/Lung Act are different than the provisions of Workers Compensation Law, though, and if you are under the Heart/Lung Act, the insurance company may be more inclined to resolve the case with you.
