settlement ?

When do you know it is time to settle a workman comp case?

I will never be able to do any job that I use and now have a spinal cord stimulator for rsd. when do you know it is time to settle is it up to the comp insurance company?

There is no "best time" to settle a workers comp. case. Each case depends on the individual facts of the case. For example, is litigation pending? Has the insurance company asked you to meet with a vocational expert? Did your work accident occur before or after 1996? If you are on social security and medicare, you have to consider how a settlement will affect these benefits.
