Unpaid time at the therapist

I am now seeing a physical therapist. My employer will not pay me for the time I take off of work to visit the therapist. Should I be getting paid?

Re: Unpaid time at the therapist

Time spent to see the doctor should be done on your own time, even if this is work-related. Generally, PT visits can be done around a work schedule. If the provider does not have hours outside of your work hours then you may be compensated for that time out of work. Please call my office so that we can discuss this further.

There's not enough information to answer this. Assuming that the treatment is for a work-related injury, I do not think that your employer has to pay you for a few hours of lost work time but does have to pay for the treatment.
