Legal Question in Workers Comp in Pennsylvania
my wc claim was denied by wcab and my attny. isnt appealing. how difficult will it be to retain another attorney? also my current attny feels the judge has an issue with my doctor because he has tried 2 other cases since mine with this dr. and was denied both times. what can be done about this?isnt this predjudicial?

Generally, it will be pretty dificult to appeal to the Commonwealth Court following a loss before the WCAB. The reason is that the costs fo such an appeal are expensive and require filing fees and printing costs for the brief to the Commonwealth Court. As for proving that the Judge is prejudiced against your doctor, your chances are slim to none. You should probably meet with a WC lawyer to go over the Judge's and WCAB's decision to determine if either committed legal errors during your case. Most WC lawyers will do this for free or a nominal fee.
