i injured my lower back and both wrist on may 10 of 2007.iam off work since 06/10/ 2007 untill 09/01/2007 i recieved WC com since june 10/2007.my DR reccomended , back to work ( part time 4hurs a day no lifting ,pushing,carrying more than 10lbs.i seen IME on 8/8/2007 i have not heard anything from the insuruer ,could the IME remove the restriction or not?

While it is conceivable that the IME doctor could offer a different opinion, it is ultimately up to your employer to decide which doctor's restrictions to go with. Typically, if the employer gets an IME opinion of full recovery or less restrictions, it will go with the IME opinion. Unless, the case goes into litigation, the law does not enforce one doctor's opinion over another.
