Legal Question in Workers Comp in Pennsylvania

i didnt know what law to put this under so heres my questoin. Can u get fired for not excepting a position at work. I dont want to take it because it doesnt benifit me in anyway like getting more money? I do lasercutting and they want me to diecutt but i dont want to.

I do not believe your question directly concerns workers compensation, but my understanding is that if your employer asks you to do something they are not required to give you a raise. The employer may require you to do something other than your assigned job if need be as long as its not illegal, immoral or unreasonable. If you do not comply with the request it may well be viewed as insubordination; but the long and short of it and a good guess in response to your question is that the employer would be within his rights to terminate you for a number of reasons including the fact that employment contracts are viewed as "at will" unless otherwise specified between you and your er.
