Legal Question in Workers Comp in Pennsylvania

worker's comp.

I was hurt at work (my wrist) and I am collecting wc. I've since had 2 surgeries in just alittle over a months time and now my wrist is partially fused. What and if any options do I have if I can't return to my old occupation (corrections officer).

Re: worker's comp.

The tasks involved with corrections Officer duties are likely too dificult for one with a fused wrist. If you can perform the job essentials, ask for accomodation under the Americans with Disabilities Act.

If not, then re-train, execute a compromise& release or seek commutation.

have your counsel discuss with you whether you have sustained a Specific Loss of any part of your arm or hand.

Good Luck
