workers comp questin
recently had knee surgery from current job injury. iam back to work, but my claim is still open because i need shots in knee. i was just offered a better paying job at another company, can i take the job with my claim still open? I might still work at current job part time.

As a practical matter, you need to settle the case before moving on to the other job, unless you want to liquidate the medical value only. Once you are in a higher paying position, there is little incentive to the workers' comp insurance carrier to amicably resolve your case. Your attorney will initiate discussion using the magic words if you like. My Office is down the hall from the Altoona Judges' Chambers if I may be of service.
