Re: workers' compensation

(1) insurance companies deny claims to save money. If they owe the money, the Judge will tell them so. No sense volunteering to do the right thing, now is there? One reason we are a litigious society is because of reprehensible behavior like that exhibited by WC carriers.

(2) In the interim, you Son can: try to find a job within his reduced physical abilities, seek UC, try Welfare, seek SSI or SSD, sponge off friends and family, sell treasured belongings, turn to a life of petty crime. A letter to the governor and representative may help a little, but your lawyer will not like it. Seems like you are doing all you can for right now.

Good Luck.
