Legal Question in Workers Comp in Pennsylvania

Workmen's Compensation

I have been on worker's comp for a year now due to a back injury. I was notified today that my other health insurance was to be terminated at the end of the month even though i have been paying the insurance premiums. Can they do this? They are saying that it falls under leave with out pay but isn't that different than worker's comp? i would appreciate any advice.

Re: Workmen's Compensation

I don't think they can cut off your health insurance so long as you continue to pay premiums. You aren't in a "leave without pay" status.
