Legal Question in Workers Comp in Pennsylvania

Workmens's Compensation

I was injured 12-06 with a low back injury at work. Recently had to go to an eval at the request of the compensation company. This doctor released me to work full duty. My doctor only has me released to modified duty which my work does not have at this time. Do i have to go back to work because their doctor says so even though i am still injured and under doctors care? If i don't go back what could happen to my benefits and/or my job?

Re: Workmens's Compensation

If you don't return, the employer's insurance carrier will likely file a Petition to Terminate with a request for a supersedeas. That is, they will request that your benefits stop pending a decision on their termination Petition.
