Legal Question in Business Law in Philippines
In a contract of sale, ownership is transferred through delivery. Is delivery only the requisite for a transfer of ownership? How about the acceptance of the buyer?
If the seller delivered the object, is the ownership transferred immediately and the only legal remedy of the buyer in case there is something wrong with the object is to go against the seller for damages? Or can he not accept ownership making "acceptance" a requisite for transfer of ownership?
