Legal Question in Business Law in Philippines
I have engaged in a franchise agreement and paid the full amount. It is specified in the contract that the fee is non refundable upon payment. It has been over a month and I still havent received the notarized contract nor any items as part of the agreement. All I have is the copy of the contract with my signature only and the official receipt of my full payment. Could I possibly cancel the contract (is it even valid) and get my money back?

Yes. Obviously, the committed a serious breach of the contract. Then you can file a complaint to rescind the contract and ask for the refund of what you paid with damages. Good luck to you.
You should show the contract you signed to a franchise attorney. He or she will advise you on the best course of action to take.
