Legal Question in Business Law in Philippines
We are a newly registered religious corporation, registered last June 9, 2010. We are going to hold our annual meeting this coming March 11-12, 2011. The incumbent chairman does not want to have an election on the said date and wanted to defer it until next year. Our by-laws state that we should elect the member of the board of trustees every year. Are they right not to hold the election? What we should do to comple to do so?
