Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Philippines

i'm already 27 years old and my brother already 23 years old, my father left us when i was a 4 years old,he worked abroad and he forget to send us financial support then after more then 15 years he came back with his new family, even though i'm 27 and my brother is 23 can we demand him a financial support, and should we file a case for damages and ask for a penalty against to my father, and how much should we ask.

Yes, you can ask support from your father. Support will depend on how much you need and what is the capacity of your father to give.If he is living with his new family and he keeps on failing or depriving you of the support you need then you can file a criminal case for violation of RA 9262. The deprivation of support constitute economic violence. You did not state if your father was married to your mother. If they are married you can sue your father for concubinage and the paramour for adultery. But both of them should be included as party respondent in the criminal complaint.
