Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Philippines
I am at age 58. I live in a Mountain Barangay. Considering the perils from the underworlds, can I carry my Licensed gun inside my car, which is registered with the LTO in my own name? It is very difficult for me to get a PTCOR. Is it legally correct to hear that the Car is considered an extension of the residence, hence, Licensed gun can be carried inside the car?

You cannot carry your gun outside your house unless you have a PTCOR.But check points are limited to visual checks and they cannot require you to open any compartment of your car unless they have a search warrant. However, it is entirely different if the search is incidental to a lawful arrest.
