Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Philippines
a case was filed in 1996, reckless driving and damage to property. there was a settlement made and the warrant was served but my employer paid the bail that i was free and was able to get my license. i thought it's ok then coz i was able to get nbi clearance and passport in 2007. when i was renewing my nbi this year, nbi did not give me a copy coz i have a case about the accident happened in 1996. is the case still active that i need to pay bail or what should i do to get clearance from this case since i have no documents proving that there was a settlement in 1996 except that they release me and was able to get my driver's license?
